At ATB, we exist to make it possible for our clients, team members and communities. Our purpose is more than aspirational. It's a real commitment we live every day through our values (what we call the ATB ID).
Life at ATB is about more than work. In fact, we’re consistently recognized as one of Canada's top employers thanks to our high-care, high-performance culture, upheld by the three commitments we make to our team members:
Impact in action: No matter where you are in the organization, you're empowered to make an impact in the lives of our clients and communities.
Thrive together: We want you—the unique, authentic you—to feel safe and celebrated at work. We're on a continuous journey to build the most flexible and inclusive programs.
Ready for tomorrow: We want to enable your success through interesting and challenging work, performance enablement, and learning and development.
## About the Role
Are you a systems thinker who loves to connect the dots between data and people? Join our People, Culture, Brand & Communications Talent Development Team as a Business Analyst reporting to the Director, Strategic Talent Management. In this role, you'll be the architect of our talent ecosystem, transforming raw workforce data into the actionable insights that power our most critical people decisions. We are looking for a proactive partner who can navigate complex systems like Success Factors and Betterworks to optimize how we grow our most valuable asset: our people.
As our Business Analyst, you are the strategic bridge between data and development. You don't just look at numbers; you see the story they tell about our talent lifecycle. You will collaborate closely with the People Analytics team to ensure our talent management programs are not just operational, but optimal. By understanding the interconnectedness of core data inputs, you'll help us create a positive experience for our team members, ensuring that every competency framework and succession plan is backed by robust, systemic thinking. You'll be part of a community that truly cares, where your analytical hustle directly contributes to a culture of growth and excellence.
## Accountabilities
* Master the Workflow: You'll map and optimize data from sources like Success Factors and Appsheets into high-efficiency talent workflows, ensuring our systems are as driven to perform as our people.
* Architect Systemic Success: Analyze the feedback loops between performance data and succession plans to identify leverage points that enhance our integrated talent system.
* Unleash Strategic Metrics: Calculate the ROI of our talent programs and model the impact of framework changes to ensure we remain One ATB, united in producing the best outcomes.
* Drive Continuous Improvement: Act as a client obsessed partner to our internal business units, translating complex requirements into simple, consistent reports and solutions.
* Champion Inclusion: You use your analytical skills to support champions of belonging, ensuring our data helps foster an equitable and safe environment for all team members.
## Knowledge, Skills and Experience
Talent Program and Systems Expertise
* HR Program and Systems Integration: Proven ability to translate complex HR program requirements (such as the talent review and succession planning) into technical system configurations, ensuring seamless data and process flow across the integrated talent management ecosystem.
* Analytical System Optimization: Experience using analytical tools to map out and optimize talent system compatibility, identifying leverage points to support talent development goals.
Specialized HR Domain Knowledge
* Talent Management Lifecycle: Deep understanding of talent data, competency frameworks, and succession planning.
* Strategic Metrics: Ability to calculate and interpret ROI of talent programs, attrition risks, and workforce trends to align with business goals.
* Talent Solutions: Translate business requirements into talent processes, reports, and solutions for consistency and usability.
* Optimization: Review existing processes and recommending improvements that enhance accuracy and reliability of talent programs
Experience and Certifications
* 7+ years of experience as an analyst in Human Resources - talent management, leadership development, or organizational development is an asset
* Post secondary degree in Business, Human Resources, or a related discipline considered an asset, combination of education and progressive experience will be considered.

If you’re seeking a career where your drive, perspective and growth are celebrated, we want to hear from you.
