At ATB, we exist to make it possible for our clients, team members and communities. Our purpose is more than aspirational. It's a real commitment we live every day through our values (what we call the ATB ID).
Life at ATB is about more than work. In fact, we’re consistently recognized as one of Canada's top employers thanks to our high-care, high-performance culture, upheld by the three commitments we make to our team members:
Impact in action: No matter where you are in the organization, you're empowered to make an impact in the lives of our clients and communities.
Thrive together: We want you—the unique, authentic you—to feel safe and celebrated at work. We're on a continuous journey to build the most flexible and inclusive programs.
Ready for tomorrow: We want to enable your success through interesting and challenging work, performance enablement, and learning and development.
## About the Role
Please note: This position has a hybrid work arrangement. On average, this means 1 day on-site per week. Please note that this is subject to change due to business priorities.
As ATB’s next Business Coordinator, within Client Experience and Technology (CXT), you'll be a dynamic, organized, and essential partner to our senior leadership team. This pivotal role provides an exciting opportunity to ensure seamless operations and directly contribute to the success of a fast-paced and innovative organization.
We're looking for someone who excels at delivering exceptional support, prides themselves on building strong relationships, and encourages collaboration and teamwork. You will manage a wide range of confidential executive and discretionary support in an effective and well-organized manner. Success in this position requires a high degree of professionalism, confidentiality, and attention to detail gained through experience in a dynamic environment.
## Accountabilities
* Provide dedicated administrative leadership to a senior executive, overseeing the coordination and monitoring of all operational, event, and project activities within the executive’s office.
* Proactively manage complex executive calendars and travel logistics, ensuring priority alignment and time optimization.
* Act as a primary point of contact between business unit executives, coordinating seamlessly with other EAs and leadership team members to drive organizational alignment.
* Provide high-level project support for the division or business unit, tracking milestones and ensuring deliverables are met on behalf of the executive.
* Own the end-to-end lifecycle of corporate events, from vendor management and logistics to on-site execution and team organization.
* Compile, review, and finalize briefing materials and logistics for executive meetings to ensure readiness and professional presentation.
* Lead the onboarding and offboarding process for team members, ensuring all equipment, system access, and initial orientations are handled efficiently.
* Accurately process and reconcile executive expenses, ensuring compliance with ATB’s financial policies.
* Serve as a gatekeeper and strategic partner, escalating critical concerns to leadership when necessary and ensuring smooth information flow.
## Skills, Experience & Requirements
* 3+ years of relevant experience and post-secondary education in a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
* A bachelor's degree is considered an asset (not required).
* Proven experience in an administrative, executive assistant, or similar role.
* Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to create high-quality, fit-for-purpose documents and communication collateral.
* Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
* Ability to manage multiple projects and initiatives simultaneously and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
* Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to influence and establish positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
* Pro-active and resourceful approach to problem-solving, with a keen attention to detail.
* Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion when handling sensitive information.
* A professional, friendly, positive attitude and a passion for continuous personal and professional development.
Don’t meet all the requirements on the list?
A resume only goes so far in expressing who you are and the unique perspectives you bring. If you believe your skills and experience align with the role—but you might not check all the boxes—we want to hear from you. We encourage candidates from all work backgrounds, equity-seeking communities and experience levels to apply. If you’re seeking a career where your drive, perspective and growth are celebrated, we want to hear from you.
We’re dedicated to building a workforce reflective of those within our communities, and a culture where our team members are equipped with what they need to succeed—their way. Part of creating an inclusive workplace is recognizing our role in advancing Truth and Reconciliation. We are committed to meeting and exceeding the standards set out in the Partnership Accreditation in Indigenous Relations program created by the Canadian Council for Aboriginal Business.
