OtherSales Leader
At ATB, we exist to make it possible for our clients, team members and communities. Our purpose is more than aspirational. It's a real commitment we live every day through our values (what we call the ATB ID).
Life at ATB is about more than work. In fact, we’re consistently recognized as one of Canada's top employers thanks to our high-care, high-performance culture, upheld by the three commitments we make to our team members:
Impact in action: No matter where you are in the organization, you're empowered to make an impact in the lives of our clients and communities.
Thrive together: We want you—the unique, authentic you—to feel safe and celebrated at work. We're on a continuous journey to build the most flexible and inclusive programs.
Ready for tomorrow: We want to enable your success through interesting and challenging work, performance enablement, and learning and development.
## About the Role
Are you ready to step into a pivotal leadership role where your passion for sales, coaching, and growth directly shapes the future of business in Alberta? As Senior Sales Leader, Entrepreneurial Growth, you will be the driving force behind achieving key business results for Everyday Financial Services (EFS) in your market. This role is a unique opportunity to lead and inspire a professional, high-performing team of ATB Business Advisors, deeply influencing both the client experience and the growth journey of our entrepreneurial clients. You will be instrumental in translating strategy into tangible results, overseeing performance, operations, and diligent risk management, all while fostering a collaborative environment with the Entrepreneurial Growth Leadership Team and Branch Managers to make it possible for Albertans. If you are driven by performance and the possibility of empowering others, this is your chance to amplify your impact with ATB Financial.
## Accountabilities
* Inspire a Team of Experts: Provide visionary direction and coaching to our team of Business Advisors, cultivating an exceptional team member experience where talent is nurtured and every individual is energized to achieve ambitious revenue, profit, and growth objectives.
* Champion Client Growth: Drive the execution of sales and service strategies focused on creating a truly unique client experience - one that not only retains our current EFS book of business but secures new entrepreneurial clients and significantly deepens existing banking relationships.
* Power Possibility Through Strategy: Plan, execute, and measure high-impact sales and service strategies to continually improve EFS business performance, translating enterprise goals into clear, achievable objectives for your team.
* Be ATB’s Ambassador: Actively engage as an influential promoter of ATB Financial at key internal and external events, connecting our mission to the success and vitality of Alberta's entrepreneurial community.
* Navigate with Diligence: Uphold ATB’s commitment to security and stability by providing guidance and personal oversight to ensure all operational, regulatory, and credit risks are effectively managed, protecting the business while mentoring your team on sound credit decisions.
## Knowledge, Skills and Experience
* Established Sales Leadership (5+ Years): Bring a proven track record of at least five years of relevant experience in a financial institution, including a minimum of three years where you successfully demonstrated sales leadership and motivation of a team.
* The Entrepreneurial Edge: Possess a deeply ingrained entrepreneurial mindset, characterized by a confident and persuasive manner, combined with the broad business knowledge and acumen necessary to evaluate and seize attractive new business opportunities.
* A Master Communicator and Influencer: Demonstrate senior-level excellence in verbal and written communication, with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly, influence stakeholders across the organization, and confidently engage with and present to Senior Leadership.
* Collaborative Force: Leverage demonstrated senior-level collaboration, negotiation, and motivational skills to effectively partner across all ATB divisions - ensuring a unified, seamless, and high-impact experience for both our teams and our clients.
* Cultural Alignment: Exhibit excellent interpersonal skills and a strong awareness of ATB’s purpose across all organizational divisions, ensuring a commitment to our people-first culture where you are free to bring your whole self to work.
## Workplace Arrangement
For this role, you’ll split your time by spending an average of three days a week on-site, either collaborating at an ATB corporate office or serving Albertans in a branch. Just keep in mind that as our business needs shift, our schedules might adapt too.
Don’t meet all the requirements on the list?
A resume only goes so far in expressing who you are and the unique perspectives you bring. If you believe your skills and experience align with the role—but you might not check all the boxes—we want to hear from you. We encourage candidates from all work backgrounds, equity-seeking communities and experience levels to apply. If you’re seeking a career where your drive, perspective and growth are celebrated, we want to hear from you.
We’re dedicated to building a workforce reflective of those within our communities, and a culture where our team members are equipped with what they need to succeed—their way. Part of creating an inclusive workplace is recognizing our role in advancing Truth and Reconciliation. We are committed to meeting and exceeding the standards set out in the Partnership Accreditation in Indigenous Relations program created by the Canadian Council for Aboriginal Business.
