Lead Supply Chain Planning Analyst

Optimizes supply chain performance through data-driven analysis, strategic planning, and coordination of inventory, demand, and supply planning across multiple suppliers and product categories. Ensures efficient, timely, and cost-effective supply chain operations.

You are an experienced supply chain professional recognized for your broad and in-depth expertise. You creatively resolve complex business challenges, lead significant projects with strategic autonomy, and influence decisions through actionable insights and recommendations.

You work effectively across functions, frequently collaborate with senior leadership, and mentor less experienced team members. You can develop and implement long-term plans that have a meaningful organizational impact.

• →Data Analysis and Forecasting: Conduct data-driven analyses to support inventory, demand, and supply planning. Develop SKU-level demand forecasts and purchase forecasts.
• →Inventory Management and Optimization: Develop and implement strategies that maintain appropriate inventory levels, improve inventory turnover, and support efficient inventory distribution.
• →Supplier Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong supplier relationships, monitor supplier performance, and collaborate with suppliers to drive continuous improvement.
• →Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with procurement, production, finance, sales, and other stakeholders to align supply chain strategies with organizational objectives and support seamless operations.
• →Logistics Coordination: Coordinate logistics activities to support the timely and cost-effective distribution of inventory.
• →Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements that increase supply chain efficiency, improve performance, and reduce costs.
• →Strategic Planning: Lead significant projects with a high degree of autonomy and develop long-term plans that affect the broader organization.
• →Leadership and Influence: Present recommendations, influence executive-level decisions, and provide guidance or mentorship to less experienced team members.

• →No direct supervisory responsibility.
• →May lead projects and mentor or provide functional guidance to less experienced team members.

• Broad and in-depth knowledge of supply chain planning, inventory management, demand forecasting, and supplier management.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze complex data and translate findings into practical business recommendations.
• Experience developing SKU-level demand and purchase forecasts.
• Ability to lead complex, cross-functional projects with strategic autonomy.
• Strong supplier relationship management and performance-monitoring skills.
• Effective collaboration, communication, and executive-influencing capabilities.
• Ability to identify and implement long-term process and operational improvements.
• Experience mentoring or providing functional guidance to less experienced professionals.

• Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) desired.
• Five or more years of related experience.
• Certification may be required in certain areas.
