Attovia Therapeutics, Inc., is seeking a Head of Investor Relations to lead our investor relations function. Reporting to the CFO, the Head of Investor Relations will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing the company's investor relations strategy. This individual will help build and articulate the company's equity narrative to the global investment community — translating complex scientific, clinical, and business information into clear, compelling communications that build trust and credibility with investors and analysts. In conjunction with leading the investor relations function, this individual will also serve as the Executive Team’s Chief of Staff, directly supporting the CEO.  This is a high-visibility role for someone who thrives at the intersection of science, finance, and storytelling.
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive investor relations strategy aligned with the company's corporate objectives, pipeline milestones, and long-term growth ambitions
  • Manage the company’s current investor relations agency and future public relations/media agency
  • Serve as a day-to-day point of contact for the buy-side and sell-side investment community, fielding inquiries and building relationships with current and prospective shareholders
  • Partner with agencies to manage the production of investor-facing materials, including all press releases, earnings call scripts and Q&A prep, investor presentations, media communications, fact sheets, and the annual report
  • Partner with executive team to prepare for and manage quarterly earnings calls, board meetings, investor conferences, medical conferences, non-deal roadshows and R&D-day presentations
  • Lead proactive and targeted investor outreach, including identifying and cultivating relationships with new institutional investors
  • Monitor and analyze sell-side analyst research, market activity, shareholder composition, and peer/competitor developments; deliver regular updates and insights to executive team and the Board
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with R&D, clinical development, regulatory, legal, and corporate communications to ensure accurate, consistent, and compliant messaging across all investor touchpoints
  • Support corporate development activities, including materials related to M&A, partnerships, licensing deals, and capital markets transactions (e.g., follow-on offerings)
  • Manage corporate website including investor relations section
  • Ensure compliance with SEC regulations, Regulation FD, and other disclosure requirements in coordination with Legal
  • Help build out and scale the IR function's tools, processes, and infrastructure as the company grows
  • Attend and help document minutes and key decisions at weekly Executive Committee (EC) meetings. Follow up on key decisions and action items to make sure they are being implemented.   Work with the CEO and EC on corporate communications and special projects
  • Through close partnership with Program Management Team assist Executive Team with coordinating activities requiring cross-functional involvement
  • Bachelor's degree required; MBA, CFA, or advanced scientific degree a plus
8+ years of relevant experience in investor relations, equity research, investment banking, or corporate finance, with a meaningful portion of that experience in biotech, pharma, or life sciences
  • Experience at a publicly traded biotech/pharmaceutical company strongly preferred; direct experience supporting earnings calls, roadshows, and SEC reporting cycles
  • Strong understanding of financial reporting, valuation methodologies, and capital markets used by investment professionals
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, highly organized with meticulous attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strategic thinker who can manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and deliver polished output under tight deadlines
  • Scientific fluency — comfort engaging with clinical and regulatory content, with the ability to translate complex science into an accessible investment narrative, especially in autoimmune diseases
  • Experience with IR-specific tools (e.g., shareholder ID/CRM platforms, earnings call/webcast providers) a plus
  • Proven track record building relationships and influencing across all levels of an organization, including senior executives and the Board
  • Experience in a Chief-of-Staff or senior project management type of role
