Responsibilities
~1 min readAs the Manager, Merchandising, you will govern Authentic licensee product creation, ensuring all offerings are in line with contractual definitions, trend-right, brand-aligned, and commercially viable. You will lead the design and merchandising review process from Concept to Market, empowering partners to elevate brand DNA, maximize sales, and open new distribution doors. You will collaborate with Brand, Business Development, and Marketing teams to maximize Brand’s growth.
- Licensee Product Governance: Oversee end-to-end product development for licensed partners, ensuring compliance with brand standards, trend-alignment, and product quality from concept approval to final production.
- Brand & DNA Custodian: Lead the Design and Merchandising review process for licensees, ensuring all products strictly adhere to Brand Guidelines and DNA.
- Compliance Governance: Ensure licensee products are in line with contractual definitions, quality standards, and brand positioning
- Go-to-Market Strategy: Drive the merchandising review process, reviewing product assortments to meet seasonal KPIs, market demand, and revenue growth goals.
- Commercial Viability & Assortment Plan:Analyze market trends and sales performance to guide partners in developing profitable, "good/better/best" product assortments that meet market demand and maximize sales.
- Partnership Management: Act as the primary liaison between licensees and Authentic on products, providing clear, actionable feedback to enhance product offerings.
- Cross-Functional Leadership: Support Brand, Business Development, and Marketing teams to align licensed product strategies with overall company growth initiatives
Requirements
~1 min read- Bachelor’s degree in Merchandise, Fashion/ Product Design.
- 3-5 years of experience in product design or merchandising within fashion industry.
- Creative and strategic thinker to drive results in a matrix environment, balancing creative brand vision with commercial rigor.
- Experience in working with cross-functional teams and managing external partnerships and license product design experience a plus.
- Excellent organizational skill, ability to multi-task and work independently to prioritize for a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication, presentation skills with attention to detail.
$80,000 - $90,000
