Accounts Payable Accountant (m/f/d)

As an Accounts Payable Accountant, you will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy, efficiency and compliance of our Accounts Payable processes. You will manage supplier invoices, payment runs and account reconciliations while working closely with internal stakeholders and suppliers to ensure smooth financial operations and support our continuous finance transformation.

• Take ownership of key Accounts Payable accounting processes.
• Work closely with Finance, Procurement and stakeholders across the business.
• Support accurate financial reporting and month-end closing activities.
• Drive process improvements and automation initiatives within Accounts Payable.

• →Review, code and post supplier invoices.
• →Ensure compliance with internal approval workflows.
• →Prepare and execute payment runs.
• →Reconcile supplier accounts and investigate outstanding items.
• →Resolve supplier inquiries and payment reminders in collaboration with internal stakeholders.
• →Support month-end, quarter-end and year-end closing activities.
• →Maintain supplier master data and ensure data accuracy.
• →Contribute to the continuous improvement and automation of Accounts Payable processes.

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or a related field.
• Several years of experience in Accounts Payable Accounting or a similar finance role.
• Good understanding of accounting principles and VAT requirements.
• Experience with ERP systems (e.g. Workday), Spend Management solutions (e.g. Coupa) and strong Excel skills.
• Strong analytical, organisational and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced international environment.
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
• Fluent German and English.
