~2 min readAs the Sr. Manager, Corporate Programs, you will manage the strategic planning and execution of Avalara's employee programs, including RevKO, CLUB, and corporate awards. Reporting to the Vice President, Corporate Experience, you will ensure these programs promote our values, strengthen our culture, and grow employee engagement across the organization.
Avalara is an industry-leading provider of cloud-based tax compliance automation, and you will help create recognition experiences that celebrate the talent driving our success story. You will lead a global team of two direct reports and collaborate with People & Culture, Internal Communications, Finance, and business leaders to deliver impactful and scalable recognition programs. This is a remote position within the United States.

You will lead program strategy which includes developing and executing long-term vision and strategy. This vision is for RevKO, CLUB, and company awards programs. You will ensure understanding of company values, priorities, and employee experience goals.

Manage Execution by overseeing the end-to-end planning and delivery of corporate programs. This includes managing timelines, budgets, communications, nominations, selection processes, and events. Additionally, it requires establishing governance for fairness and transparency.

Collaborate with senior leaders to identify opportunities to recognize performance. Work with the Chief Sales Officer and Sales Chief of Staff for RevKO, and with external partners for the CLUB recognition program.

Manage two team members (US and India), promoting a, collaborative environment with clear goals and accountability.

Manage annual program budgets, forecasting, and vendor relationships. Develop reporting to measure program outcomes, and identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and scalability.

Evaluate program effectiveness through metrics and leadership feedback, making enhancements to increase engagement, inclusivity.

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
6+ years of experience leading employee engagement, recognition, events, corporate programs, or related functions.
3+ years of people management experience.
You have experience managing large-scale, high-visibility programs with executives
You have experience with project management, budgeting, and operational planning.
You have experience managing end-to-end employee recognition or incentive programs in a high-growth technology company.
AI automation experience to help improve efficiency and scale program infrastructure.
