For 20  years, Avid4 Adventure  has empowered pre-K- 12th graders with the skills and confidence to paddle, bike, hike, climb and thrive in the outdoors.  Each year we employ hundreds of Seasonal Staff to serve thousands of campers and our Directors and Assistant Directors are an integral part of this success. Each Camp Leadership Team is responsible for ensuring the delivery of safe, high quality and efficient programs. They also provide mentorship and training to our Seasonal Instructors and are responsible for creating a positive, inclusive, and memorable work environment.  If you are seeking meaningful work as a leader in our outdoor recreation community, we invite you to join us this upcoming summer!

  • Work Schedule: Monday through Friday during regular camp operations, approximately 8am - 4:30pm. Hours are dependent on operation needs.

  • Position Duration: In person Camp Leadership training May 1 - 3 preferred, but not required. Additional pre-season training takes place May 30 - June 4 for Menlo Park, June 14 - 19 for Bellevue. Camps run June through August, exact dates dependent on location.

  • Complete behind-the-scenes administrative work to include creating camp and staff schedules, uploading pictures, ensuring compliance standards are being upheld, conducting payroll audits, and ensuring logistical accuracy.

  • Provide excellent customer service to our campers and parents by addressing problems immediately, communicating clearly and frequently, responding to parent survey feedback, and guiding staff on Avid4 best practices.

  • You can speak to multiple audiences with ease, foster meaningful relationships, and inspire everyone around you with our mission.

  • You successfully develop and empower your instructors while working with them side by side, being present in the moment, and leaving the weight of work challenges behind you at the end of your day.
