Avidyne designs, builds, and certifies the avionics pilots rely on for safe flight operations. Our Human Resources (HR) team must embody the same commitment to quality and attention to detail.

We are seeking an experienced HR Generalist to take full ownership of payroll and compensation responsibilities for a lean, two-person HR department, working alongside the Talent Acquisition Partner and reporting directly to the CFO.

As an HR Generalist, your core responsibilities will be payroll, compensation, and benefits administration.

• Manage the entire payroll process, ensuring salaries, deductions, and tax withholdings are accurate and disbursed in a timely manner.

What We Offer

~1 min read

• Maintain and enhance our compensation structure, including establishing salary bands, defining job levels, and conducting market benchmarking.

• Work closely with the CFO on annual compensation planning, merit increases, and bonus programs.

• Administer our group medical, dental, and vision plans, serving as the primary point of contact for employees and brokers.

• Manage the 401(k) program, from enrollment to compliance testing, and oversee vendor relationships.

• Lead the annual open enrollment process, assessing our benefits offerings for competitiveness and cost-effectiveness.

At Avidyne, we are committed to creating customized compensation packages that reflect each individual's unique skill set, experience level, and areas of expertise, with base pay ranges discussed during the interview process.

You'll also receive benefits including:

Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage, starting your first day of employment
Short-term and long-term disability insurance, plus life insurance
401(k) matching: we match 50% of an employee's first 6%
Flexible time off (FTO) and 10 paid holidays a year
Reimbursement for certain career-related educational expenses, including tuition and private pilot license assistance (ask your recruiter about our flight club benefits)

• Assist with federal, state, and local employment laws, such as FLSA, FMLA, ADA, EEO, and OSHA.

• Aid in employment-based immigration processes, including visa sponsorship and I-9 verification.

• Help ensure personnel records, policies, and the employee handbook remain current — without being the sole owner of these programs.

• Support the CFO and managers through performance reviews and employee relations matters — administering the review cycle, coaching managers through tools and timelines, and providing day-to-day guidance on policies and best practices, without owning those calls yourself.

• Coordinate closely with the Talent Acquisition Partner on workforce planning and hiring priorities.

• Assist with onboarding and offboarding.

You may be assigned other duties from time to time by your supervisor.

At Avidyne, our culture is grounded in the philosophy of Simply Flying: creating practical, effective solutions that make a real impact.

Built for those who never settle for good enough, we're looking for dedicated professionals who bring integrity to every decision and push for smarter, safer solutions, because every flight depends on it.

We care deeply about the future of aviation and drive innovation. Your ideas can help create safer, smarter solutions; your work will truly make a difference.
