Join a global manufacturing and operations environment known for supporting complex supply chain, warehouse, and logistics functions. This team plays a key role in maintaining shipping accuracy, quality compliance, and customer satisfaction by partnering closely with warehouse operations, third-party logistics teams, shipping office personnel, and internal business partners. The environment is onsite, fast-paced, and highly collaborative, with a strong focus on problem-solving, continuous improvement, and operational accountability.
Engagement: W2 only (no C2C/1099)
This is a 6-month onsite contract opportunity with standard Monday through Friday business hours, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. The role offers hands-on exposure to quality, warehouse operations, shipping discrepancy resolution, customer claims support, and returnable container program administration. There is potential for the role to convert to a full-time position after the contract period.
- Support the onsite quality and operations team by helping resolve shipping discrepancy claims involving internal customers and 3PL warehouse partners.
- Investigate shipment issues, identify root causes, and help implement corrective or preventive actions to reduce repeat discrepancies.
- Coordinate between the shipping office and claims analyst team to support timely and accurate customer claims resolution.
- Assist with returnable container program oversight and administration to help maintain operational control and compliance.
- Support additional quality team activities as needed to meet performance targets and drive continuous improvement.
- Work across office and warehouse environments, including occasional floor support, walking, standing, and lifting up to 35 lbs. when needed.
- Experience in quality support, shipping coordination, logistics, warehouse operations, claims support, or related operational environments.
- Strong ability to prioritize tasks, manage competing deadlines, and stay detail-oriented in a fast-paced setting.
- Strong computer skills, including data entry, report generation, Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, databases, and office productivity tools.
- Ability to analyze data, identify trends or discrepancies, and support root cause investigation.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a customer-focused approach.
- Strong organizational, follow-up, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience working cross-functionally with internal teams, external stakeholders, warehouse teams, or 3PL partners.
- Ability to explain issues clearly to different audiences and handle sensitive information professionally.
- College degree preferred.
