This role sits within the People Operations organization and supports a small, highly collaborative People Data & Analytics function. The team partners closely with People Technology, Talent Acquisition, Total Rewards, Talent Development, Learning & Development, HR Business Partners, and business stakeholders to deliver accurate reporting, meaningful insights, and leadership-ready analytics.
This is a full-time temporary opportunity with potential to convert to a permanent role in 2027 based on business needs and performance. The role is 100% remote within the U.S., with no travel required. This position offers strong visibility across HR, people analytics, Workday reporting, engagement survey analytics, talent planning, compliance reporting, and leadership-facing reporting needs.
- Build, maintain, and enhance Workday reports across multiple reporting formats, including advanced, matrix, composite, and related report types.
- Support HR reporting and analytics requests across Talent Acquisition, Total Rewards, Talent Development, Learning & Development, HRBPs, and People Operations.
- Own recurring and ad hoc people data requests, ensuring reports are accurate, clear, and aligned to stakeholder needs.
- Support Q3 talent planning and Q4 engagement survey analytics by helping translate talent data into metrics, insights, and presentation-ready summaries.
- Prepare HR analytics and reporting outputs for business leaders and executive-level audiences.
- Support federal, state, internal compliance reporting, audit requests, and data quality reviews.
- Partner with People Technology on Workday reporting access, security-related needs, and data/reporting dependencies.
- Maintain strong data integrity, confidentiality, and documentation across people reporting processes.
- 3–5 years of hands-on Workday reporting experience, ideally within HR, people analytics, HR operations, or HRIS.
- Strong technical knowledge of Workday reporting, including advanced reports, matrix reports, composite reports, dashboards, and data manipulation.
- Experience supporting HR data, talent analytics, engagement survey reporting, talent planning, or people metrics.
- Ability to turn raw HR data into clear insights, metrics, presentations, and recommendations for business leaders.
- Experience supporting compliance reporting, audits, federal reporting, or state reporting preferred.
- Experience with analytics and visualization tools such as Qlik, Tableau, Quantum Workplace, MAXQDA, or similar platforms preferred.
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including formulas, analysis, and data validation.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Analytics, Information Systems, Statistics, or a related quantitative field.
- Workday Reporting or Workday Pro certification preferred.
- Pharma, biotech, or life sciences experience is a plus, but not required.
- Strong communication skills, ability to explain HR data to non-technical audiences, openness to feedback, and ability to work independently in a fast-moving environment.
