THE ROLE
This role is the senior financial leader responsible for the integrity, accuracy, and timeliness of all accounting and treasury operations across a multi-plant, multi-ERP manufacturing environment. You'll oversee U.S. and Mexico-based accounting teams, lead the monthly close, direct cash management and treasury activities, and provide the financial insight that drives Executive Leadership's decision-making with the majority of accounting operations centralized in Mérida, Mexico.
WHAT YOU'LL OWN
FINANCIAL ACCOUNTING & CLOSE
✓
Lead and manage the full monthly, quarterly, and annual close process across multiple business units and ERP systems
✓
Ensure timely, accurate consolidation of financials into the company's reporting tool for management and board reporting
✓
Maintain disciplined GL oversight, account reconciliations, and internal controls
✓
Analyze and distribute monthly financial statements to department heads; communicate trends and deviations
TREASURY & CASH MANAGEMENT
✓
Direct daily, weekly, and monthly cash-management activities, ensuring liquidity across U.S. and Mexico operations
✓
Manage banking relationships, cash forecasting, and treasury reporting
✓
Oversee cash-disbursement controls and payment cycles, including approval of large payables, check signing, and authorization of large wires/ACHs
✓
Optimize working capital through disciplined oversight of AP, AR, inventory, and production-related cash flows
✓
Support strategic capital planning, including equipment purchases, plant investments, and seasonal cash-flow requirements
AUDIT, COMPLIANCE & REGULATORY
✓
Oversee all statutory, regulatory, and financial audits (U.S. and Mexico); serve as key point of contact for external auditors
✓ Ensure compliance with GAAP, local Mexican accounting standards, and all relevant tax regulations
✓
Maintain strong internal controls and risk-management practices to safeguard company financial assets
TAX MANAGEMENT
✓
Direct all sales tax, payroll tax, and corporate tax compliance activities
✓
Coordinate with external tax advisors to ensure accurate filings and proactive tax planning
✓ Monitor multi-state sales tax exposure related to commencement products and photography services
ACCOUNTS PAYABLE & RECEIVABLE
✓ Oversee AP and AR operations, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and strong cash-management discipline
✓ Implement process improvements to reduce cycle times, improve vendor management, and strengthen collections
ERP, SYSTEMS & REPORTING
✓ Lead accounting integration across multiple ERP systems used by different business units
✓ Ensure accurate data flow into the consolidated reporting platform for executive and operational visibility
✓ Partner with IT and operations to improve system reliability, data governance, and reporting automation
✓ Own financial reporting and investor relations; oversee company transactions as needed
✓ Provide guidance on required inventory needs to meet financial goals, and timing of incoming inventory receipts
TEAM & STRATEGIC LEADERSHIP
✓ Lead the Accounting and Treasury teams, including plant-level accounting functions in Mérida, Mexico
✓ Build a high-performance culture focused on accuracy, accountability, and continuous improvement
✓ Serve as a key partner to operations, manufacturing, supply chain, and executive leadership
✓ Serve as a member of the senior leadership team, participating in strategy and execution across Accounting, FP&A, Treasury, and Tax
✓ Review finance and payroll procedures and recommend improvements to controls, workflow, and process
WHAT YOU BRING
✓ Bachelor's degree and active CPA license required — MBA a strong plus
✓ 8+ years of finance experience in multi-country manufacturing and e-commerce, including 5+ years at the senior leadership level
✓ Broad international experience (including the U.S.) preferred
✓ Bilingual — English & Spanish
✓ Track
record leading finance for an organization at $200M+ in annual revenue
✓ Experience partnering with external auditors and reporting to a Board of Directors
✓ International Travel required
