This internship offers an aspiring Digital Learning Designer handson experience supporting the creation and improvement of digital learning materials across our tech and digital apprenticeship curriculum.

Working alongside experienced Instructional Designers, Curriculum Developers and Product Managers, you’ll help turn structured learning content into clear, engaging learning material. This is a practical, productionfocused role designed to build skills in digital learning and content design.

As an Ofsted Outstanding training provider, the quality of our learning experience is central to our success. In this role, you’ll play a key part in maintaining and scaling that standard, ensuring every learner-facing asset reflects the clarity, consistency, and quality that we are known for.

What You’ll Work On:

1. Creating Learning Slides

  • Turn existing curriculum content into clear, well‑designed slide decks
  • Format slides using agreed templates, layouts, and brand guidelines
  • Apply consistent fonts, colours, spacing, and visuals to ensure a professional finish
  • Improve clarity and readability by structuring content logically across slides

2. Visual Design Support

  • Create visual assets such as diagrams, icons, and basic infographics
  • Help simplify complex information using layout, visual hierarchy, and spacing
  • Make improvements to existing slides and curriculum material to improve consistency and clarity

3. Quality & Accuracy

  • Check slides for formatting errors, inconsistencies, and basic content issues
  • Make updates to slides based on clear feedback from the curriculum team
  • Follow accessibility best practice when creating and updating slides (e.g. readable text, clear layouts)

4. Collaboration & Learning

  • Work closely with Curriculum Developers and Product Managers who will provide clear briefs and feedback
  • Ask questions and flag where content is unclear or difficult to present visually
  • Learn how digital learning materials are created, reviewed, and improved in a professional education setting

What We’re Looking For:

  • Current or recent graduate in a relevant subject (e.g. graphic design, digital media, education, etc)
  • Strong attention to detail and interest in how information is structured and presented
  • Confidence using presentation tools (PowerPoint, Google Slides, or similar)
  • Willingness to learn, take feedback, and work collaboratively
  • Good organisational skills and ability to manage tasks to deadlines

What You’ll Gain:

  • Handson experience in a professional education environment
  • A portfolio of real learning materials
  • Exposure to curriculum design, quality assurance, and learning technology
  • Mentorship and structured feedback throughout
