The Talent Management team plays a vital role in Banner Health's mission by serving as the operational backbone for enterprise-wide talent initiatives. Our team leads the execution of development and growth programs, career journey support, learning opportunities and the comprehensive tools, resources, and training that drive these critical functions across the organization. We directly enable Banner's strategic goals of investing in talent skills, growth and development by ensuring team members at all levels have the resources needed to own their growth. As a highly respected team, we partner closely with HR Leadership, Divisional Leaders, HR Partners, and operational leaders to further influence Banner’s success in meeting strategic objectives while supporting engaged people and fostering a culture of continuous development.
Join a highly respected and impactful team where your work directly shapes the careers and futures of talent across Banner. As a Talent Management Specialist, a typical day involves balancing multiple priorities across program execution, resource development, and stakeholder support. You might start the day by working on deliverables for the succession campaign, then shift to designing resources and building content for digital courses. Mid-day could involve responding to HR Partner questions, updating Workday hubs and partnering with the learning team on course creation. The afternoon might be spent reviewing the project plan for upcoming deliverables, analyzing quarterly talent data for trends, building dashboards, and sending communications to stakeholders. Throughout the day, you'll collaborate across teams, maintain standard operating procedures, and ensure all talent planning tools and resources are current and accessible. Experience the excitement of continuous learning, meaningful collaboration and the satisfaction of improving how Banner supports talent development—because we come to work each day to make health care easier, so life can be better, and that starts with investing in our people.
