You’re an experienced Registered Nurse who combines strong clinical expertise with the confidence to lead, coach and inspire a team.

  • Current AHPRA Registration as a Registered Nurse (Division 1)
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Nurse Unit Manager, Clinical Care Manager or in a similar aged care leadership role
  • Strong knowledge of the Aged Care Quality Standards and contemporary clinical practice
  • Proven experience leading, coaching and developing multidisciplinary teams
  • Excellent communication, leadership and stakeholder management skills
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to confidently prioritise in a fast-paced environment
  • A genuine passion for person-centred aged care, clinical excellence and continuous improvement
  • National Police Check, or willingness to obtain
  • Full Australian working rights

About the Role

As our Nurse Unit Manager, you’ll be more than a clinical leader — you’ll be a coach, mentor and champion for quality care.

You’ll lead and inspire your clinical team while creating a positive environment where residents feel valued, families feel confident and staff have the support to thrive.

  • Lead and inspire a multidisciplinary clinical team
  • Champion safe, high-quality and person-centred care
  • Ensure care is aligned with the Aged Care Quality Standards
  • Coach, mentor and develop nurses and care staff
  • Monitor resident outcomes and coordinate clinical interventions
  • Maintain high standards of clinical documentation and compliance
  • Lead quality improvement, audits and risk management initiatives
  • Build trusted relationships with residents, families, GPs and allied health professionals
  • Support funding assessments and clinical reporting
  • Foster a workplace culture built on teamwork, respect, accountability and excellence
