• →Process engineering changes;
• →Participate in Continuous Improvement projects as part of a cross functional team;
• →Tool design;
• →Time studies on the floor;
• →Project management, creating milestones, and project plans;
• →Entering/updating of data in ERP system (item cards, BOM, part routings).
• →Perform all tasks in accordance with company Engineering policies ;
• →Complete internship projects and present findings to leadership;
• →Perform other duties as assigned.

·         Strong verbal and written communication skills

·         Ability to work in a manufacturing environment

·         Ability to schedule and organize time and tasks effectively

·         Ability to work in a challenging and schedule driven environment

• Strong CAD solid modeling knowledge (NX, Vericut, or 3^rd wave)
• Basic understanding of blueprint reading and interpretation.
• Basic understanding of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T).
• Basic understanding of manufacturing processes (turning, milling cutting tools, feeds & speeds, materials )
• Working knowledge of Lean concepts (Toyota Production System).
• Basic understanding of part measuring techniques (calipers, micrometers, verniers, and indicators)
• Ability to work with others within a cross functional team.
• Self-motivated and driven (take a project and run with it).

Education Requirements:

·         High school diploma or GED required

• Currently enrolled in an accredited college/university in Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Preferably Environmental, Chemical, Mechanical, Computer Science, Manufacturing, or Industrial focus) or Management/Business
