• →Serve as the primary point of contact between the owner, contractor, and electricians to ensure smooth communication and project execution.
• →Be on-site regularly to observe, measure, and document electrical and automation-related construction activities.
• →Inspect electrical and automation equipment and verify installations meet design and safety standards.
• →Perform acceptance testing for automation systems and troubleshoot issues as needed.
• →Attend construction progress meetings as the owner/engineer representative and provide technical input.
• →Edit and review engineering plans using AutoCAD and/or REVIT.
• →Prepare CAD plan sheet drawings and assist project engineers and managers with tasks throughout project delivery.

• Associate’s degree in Construction Management Technology or related field experience preferred.

• 2+ years of hands-on experience in construction inspection and maintenance, with a strong focus on electrical and automation systems.
• Effective communication, both oral and written, with residents, businesses and public agencies.
• Ability to travel throughout the northern Chicagoland area (own transportation).
• Work in a team environment.
• Strong written, verbal, computer, and organizational skills.
