Residential DSP Tues. - Thurs. with Sun. in Waldorf, MD

Job Summary:
Bay-CSS is looking for a dedicated Residential Direct Support Professional (DSP) to join our team in Waldorf, MD. This role involves supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in a residential setting during the following schedule: Tuesdays to Thursdays from 2pm to 10pm, and Sundays from 8am to 2pm.

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous experience working with individuals with disabilities preferred
- Valid driver's license with reliable transportation and car insurance
- Must pass a background check
- Ability to lift at least 50lbs
- Completion of all required trainings within the allotted timeframe
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and follow directions
- Compassionate and patient demeanor

Responsibilities:
- Assist residents with daily tasks including meal preparation, personal hygiene, and household chores
- Provide emotional support and encouragement to individuals in the program
- Implement individualized care plans and behavior support strategies
- Maintain a clean and safe living environment
- Document and report any significant changes or incidents to supervisors

Compensation:
- Hourly rate: $21/hr Monday to Friday, with a $2 shift differential on Saturdays and Sundays
