BaySwim Team leader (INTERNAL APPLICANTS)

Are you passionate about swimming, water safety and helping others succeed? We're looking for an enthusiastic Team Leader to support our Learn to Swim programme, lead our amazing swim teachers, and help deliver exceptional experiences for our swimmers and families. Based across our BaySwim venues, this is a fantastic opportunity to develop your leadership skills in a fun and rewarding environment.

About the Role:

As a BaySwim Team Leader, you'll provide day-to-day support and leadership to our swim teaching team across 5 venues (Baywave, Greerton, Otumoetai, Te Puke, KatiKati, helping ensure lessons are engaging, safe, inclusive and delivered to a high standard. You'll assist with staff mentoring, training, rostering, customer enquiries, programme administration, and maintaining a positive experience for swimmers and their families.

This is a fixed term role minimum of 18 months  for 25hrs+ per week; Term time only

About You:

You are a positive and motivated leader who enjoys supporting others to succeed. You're organised, confident communicating with families and staff, and passionate about teaching swimming and water safety. You can remain calm under pressure and thrive in a busy aquatic environment.

Qualifications:

• Current Swim Teaching Qualification  (or equivalent)
• Current First Aid and CPR Certification
• Strong Learn to Swim knowledge and teaching experience
• Leadership or team mentoring experience preferred
• Commitment to child safety and health & safety best practices
