Responsibilities

Execute purchase orders for raw materials, components, and MRO items in accordance with company policies and procedures.

Monitor supplier performance, resolve issues related to quality, delivery, and pricing, and maintain strong supplier relationships.

Analyze material requirements and production schedules to ensure timely availability of materials and components.

Develop and maintain production schedules based on sales forecasts, inventory levels, and manufacturing capacity.

Collaborate with engineering, production, and quality teams to optimize material flow and resolve supply chain issues.

Maintain accurate inventory records and participate in inventory cycle counts and physical inventories.

Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements within the procurement and planning functions.

Prepare and present reports on purchasing activities, inventory status, and production performance.

Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies.
Requirements
~1 min readBachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
1-3 years of experience in purchasing, planning, or a related supply chain role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
Strong understanding of MRP/ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, MFG PRO).
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Strong negotiation and communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
APICS certification (CPIM, CSCP) is a plus.
