About the Role
~1 min readOrchestra is seeking an Account Coordinator to join our Travel + Hospitality team. This role is a great opportunity to build a career in strategic communications while supporting clients across the travel, lifestyle, hospitality and culinary industries. You will assist with day-to-day account management, media relations, research, writing and project coordination while working closely with senior team members on integrated communications campaigns and media placements.
The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented and eager to grow in a fast-paced agency environment while developing strong communications and client service skills.
Requirements
~1 min readAs an Account Coordinator on the Travel + Hospitality team you will…
- Implement strategy and campaign planning for multiple high-profile accounts
- Pitch and place media stories across local, regional and national outlets
- Write and edit persuasive external and internal documents such as press releases, op-eds, fact sheets, talking points, editorial board memos, and communications plans
- Oversee day-to-day communications with clients, including staffing weekly calls, developing press recaps and participating in crisis communications, as necessary
- Manage work streams across multiple accounts in the arts and culture sector
- Internship or other relevant experience in strategic communications
- Interest in PR specifically within the travel and hospitality space
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both orally and in writing
- Attention to detail
- Ability to handle multiple assignments at once, work quickly, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work with a team to meet group objectives
Salary range (commensurate with experience and skills): $63,000 - $66,300
