Information Security Intern

The Governance, Risk, Compliance & Awareness (GRC&A) Intern will work as part of the Information Security team and will assist with activities supporting governance, risk management, compliance, security awareness, business continuity, disaster recovery, and technology risk assessments.

• →Providing support for Information Security governance and risk management tools and systems, including:
  • →Risk Management Software
• →Promoting information security awareness to employees and assisting with security awareness campaigns, training, phishing simulations, and other human risk initiatives
• →Supporting the planning and participation in business continuity and disaster recovery exercises and testing events
• →Assisting in the creation and maintenance of Information Security policies, standards, procedures, and controls to help ensure documentation remains current and supports the firm’s governance and control objectives
• →Gathering and preparing materials for executive presentations, governance committees, risk reporting, and management updates
• →Participating in the collection and analysis of information from company-wide personnel in support of enterprise and technology risk assessments
• →Supporting audit, regulatory, and compliance activities, including gathering documentation and evidence and tracking follow-up items
• →Assisting with the tracking, documentation, reporting, and escalation of security, privacy, risk, and Red Flags matters, as appropriate
• →Supporting business continuity planning and operational resilience activities
• →Supporting the tracking and reporting of risk, compliance, remediation, and security awareness metrics

• In pursuit of a bachelor’s degree in Risk Management, Cybersecurity or Information Security, Information Technology, Audit, Technology & AI Governance, Computer Science, or a related field
• Interest in pursuing a career in governance, risk management, compliance, cybersecurity, audit, business continuity, or a related field
• Strong analytical, organizational, written, and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively across multiple projects and business areas
• Project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, track deliverables, and follow through on action items

The hourly rate for this position ranges from $40.00 - $45.00. This range reflects the minimum and maximum base salary we reasonably expect to pay for this role. Application deadline is October 6th.
