Responsibilities

This is a dual role, combining time in the room, with leadership and administrative responsibilities as a part of your role as deputy. These responsibilities include:

→Support and guide a passionate team of practitioners
→Mentor and train staff, promoting high standards of care and education
→Lead on observations, supervisions, and staff development
→Ensure compliance with all safeguarding and EYFS requirements
→Build strong relationships with parents and carers
→Contribute to planning and implementation of the Montessori curriculum
→Assist with nursery administration and day-to-day management

We’re looking for someone special! Someone who brings both professionalism and joy to their work:

Minimum Level 3 qualification in Childcare and Education (or equivalent)
Strong knowledge of the EYFS and safeguarding requirements
Proven leadership skills in a nursery setting
A caring, compassionate approach to working with children
A great communicator and a natural team player
Organised, responsible, and full of positive energy
Montessori experience is a plus, but not essential
