Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Manage the day-to-day operations of the nursery, ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation and regulations.
- →Lead, mentor, and develop the nursery staff, ensuring a high standard of practice across the team.
- →Oversee the planning and implementation of a curriculum that meets the needs of all children.
- →Monitor and evaluate the quality of provision, ensuring continuous improvement.
- →Maintain positive relationships with parents, carers, and the wider community.
- →Manage purchases and resources effectively to ensure the sustainability and growth of the nursery.
- →Ensure the nursery environment is safe, stimulating, and well-resourced, and meets the needs of all children.
- →Conduct regular staff meetings, appraisals, and professional development sessions.
Requirements
~1 min read- A minimum of a Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education or equivalent (Level 5 or above preferred).
- At least 3-4 years of experience in a nursery management role within an early-years setting.
- Strong knowledge of EYFS, safeguarding, and health & safety regulations.
- Proven ability to lead and manage a team effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A passion for early childhood education and a commitment to providing high-quality care.
