Engagement Marketing Manager

The Engagement Marketing Manager is responsible for developing and executing customer engagement strategies that drive activation, retention, and multi-product education that results in second product adoption. This role owns the end-to-end execution of marketing campaigns across channels, ensuring timely delivery, strong performance, and alignment with business objectives. The manager partners closely with Product and Lines of Business, Insights, Analytics, and across the Marketing organization to translate business goals into customer-centric engagement strategies, while coordinating cross-functional teams including Brand, Operations, and Compliance to deliver seamless customer experiences.
- Develop and own customer engagement strategies across the customer journey (onboarding, early month on book, retention, cross-sell, and re-engagement)
- Translate business objectives from Product and Lines of Business teams into actionable marketing plans for existing customers across products, including Unsecured Personal Loan, Best Egg Financial Health, Home Secure Loan and Vehicle Equity Loan
- Identify opportunities to deepen customer relationships and drive multi-product adoption
- Define success metrics and KPIs aligned to engagement, utilization, and retention goals
- Lead end-to-end execution of engagement strategy and marketing campaigns across channels (email, digital, mobile, etc.)
- Manage campaign workflows, timelines, and dependencies to ensure on-time and accurate delivery
- Partner with Brand and Compliance teams to develop and launch customer communications
- Oversee campaign setup, QA, and deployment processes
- Education, training and/or professional experience needed to do the job equivalent to intermediate-strong level mastery of job’s core function or similar role.
- 3-5+ years of experience executing multi-channel marketing campaigns
- Data-driven, marketing mindset with experience using reporting and analytics to measure effectiveness.
- Strong project management and organizational skills with attention to detail
- Experience with marketing tools and workflow platforms (e.g., JIRA, Salesforce, marketing automation platforms)
- Comfortable interacting and engaging with colleagues from all levels of management across all business units
- Strategic minded, highly motivated, well organized, and able to communicate effectively
- Comfortable leading in a rapidly changing environment where ambiguity and short turnaround schedules are the norm
- Flexible and able to react professionally and efficiently to changes in schedules or project direction without sacrificing quality
- Leads cross-functional collaboration, aligning stakeholders to drive engagement marketing engagement initiatives forward effectively
- Thrives in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities while maintaining strong attention to detail and a continuous learning mindset
- Fosters a culture of knowledge-sharing by both mentoring others and actively learning to support team and organizational growth
