We are looking for a Regulatory Compliance Projects Manager to support the development, structuring, and scaling of the Regulatory Compliance function at Betclic, in a context of strong international growth and increasing regulatory complexity.
Reporting to the Head of Regulatory Compliance, you will play a central role in bridging Regulatory Compliance, Product, Tech, and Business teams, both at local and group levels. You will ensure that Betclic’s products, features, and operations are designed and delivered in full alignment with applicable regulatory requirements across multiple jurisdictions.
This role is critical to embedding a compliance-by-design approach throughout the product lifecycle, while enabling innovation in a fast-paced environment.
- Act as a trusted advisor to Business, Product, and Tech teams on cross-jurisdiction regulatory matters, ensuring early and pragmatic guidance
- Lead and coordinate cross-functional and cross-jurisdictional compliance projects
- Ensure continuous oversight of the product development lifecycle (from discovery to delivery), with a focus on regulatory compliance and risk mitigation
- Drive the implementation of compliance-by-design principles across all product initiatives
- Promote and embed a strong compliance culture within product and operational teams
- Design, implement, and maintain a regulatory compliance training framework tailored to different stakeholders
- Coordinate the management and remediation of cross-jurisdiction regulatory incidents, ensuring timely and effective resolution
- Support and facilitate responses to regulatory inquiries, audits, and requests for information across jurisdictions
- Ensure robust documentation, governance, and traceability of compliance decisions and risk assessments
- Contribute to regulatory risk committees, including risk identification, control design, and follow-up
- Support the preparation of regulatory reporting and updates to senior management (including ExCom)
We are looking for passionate and curious professionals who bring kindness and a touch of enthusiasm!
- Master’s degree in Law, Political Science, Business, or a related field
- 5–10 years of experience managing cross-functional projects in a regulated environment (e.g. payments, fintech, gaming, or similar)
- Strong ability to interpret complex regulatory frameworks and translate them into practical, scalable business and product solutions
- Proven experience working closely with Business, Product and Tech teams in an agile environment
- Excellent analytical, communication, and internal stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at all levels
- Versatile, adaptable, and pragmatic mindset, with a strong sense of ownership and a risk-based approach
- Genuine interest in sports, gaming, and technology
- Native French and full professional fluency in English required; an additional European language (Portuguese, German, Spanish) is a plus
If your application is shortlisted, Elodie will contact you within a week for an initial HR screening (30 minutes). Then, you will complete the AssessFirst test (personality, motivation and cognitive reasoning).
Next, you will meet Alexandre - Head of Regulatory Compliance, then Sarah - General Counsel.
Finally, Elodie will conduct a final HR interview to review your AssessFirst results together.
