Water/Wastewater Treatment Plant Facilities Design Engineering - Sr Project Manager / Project Manager

BGE, Inc will hire a Project Manager up to a Sr PM to lead the design and engineering efforts of Water/Wastewater Treatment Facility Plants. You can out of one of our Austin, TX offices: South Austin (Directors Blvd) or North Austin (Louis Henna Blvd).

• →Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related field
• →Registered PE in Texas required or can be acquired through reciprocity within 6 months of hire.
• →5-10 years experience working in public works and/or municipal services projects.
• →Previous project management (or right-hand PE in task lead role to PM) experience in water/wastewater treatment facilities (biological treatment systems, membrane treatment facilities, pump stations, and piping design)

• Perform project management work on a variety of civil engineering projects related to water and wastewater systems including modeling, pipeline, lift stations and pump stations facilities.
• Oversee the performance of multiple project managers and/or engineers and their teams.
• Perform, coordinate and oversee the completion of various engineering tasks by technical staff and subconsultants.
• Lead project teams across simultaneous assignments
• Supervise and mentor engineers, designers and technicians.
• Manage the quality, timeliness and financial aspects of projects.
• Serve as point of contact for clients.
• Partner with senior staff in developing and maintaining client relationships.
• Lead or support the development of project pursuits, proposals, and interviews.
