Enterprise Data Lineage Consultant

About the role:

We are currently seeking an experienced Consultant to support the delivery of a large-scale enterprise lineage and metadata management programme for a global food manufacturing client.

This role will focus heavily on end-to-end lineage modelling, metadata ingestion, API integration, business lineage implementation, and enterprise Data Governance delivery across complex data ecosystems.

You will work closely with Solution Architects, Data Governance stakeholders, platform teams, and business users to design and implement scalable lineage and metadata solutions within Ataccama ONE environments.

This is a highly technical, hands-on consulting role requiring strong enterprise delivery experience and the ability to operate effectively within client-facing engagements.

What you’ll do:

• Configure and implement Ataccama ONE Lineage and Metadata Management solutions
• Design and deliver end-to-end technical and business lineage frameworks
• Develop metadata ingestion pipelines and lineage scan configurations
• Implement REST API and GraphQL-based ingestion and integration approaches
• Support lineage stitching, metadata parsing, and cross-platform lineage mapping
• Configure scan plans, ingestion workflows, and lineage connectors
• Support business glossary creation, business term mapping, and governance alignment
• Work across enterprise platforms including SAP S/4HANA, Alteryx, Tableau, SAC, and Blackline
• Collaborate with architects and governance teams to support enterprise data strategy initiatives
• Support testing, defect resolution, deployment activities, and environment configuration
• Produce technical documentation and support knowledge transfer activities
• Lead or support lineage workshops with technical and business stakeholders
• Ensure technical deliverables meet quality, scalability, and performance expectations

What you’ll need:

• Strong hands-on experience with Ataccama ONE platform implementation
• Certified Ataccama ONE experience highly desirable
• Proven experience delivering end-to-end lineage modelling solutions
• Experience implementing Ataccama Lineage modules and metadata management capabilities
• Strong experience with REST APIs, GraphQL, and metadata ingestion frameworks
• Experience integrating enterprise platforms such as SAP, Alteryx, Tableau, SAC, or Blackline
• Strong understanding of Data Governance, Metadata Management, and MDM principles
• Experience with business glossary mapping and lineage stitching processes
• Strong SQL and data integration knowledge
• Experience working within enterprise-scale transformation programmes
• Excellent stakeholder communication and workshop facilitation skills
• Ability to work independently within fast-paced client delivery environments
