Water Resources Engineer III / Sr. Project Engineer

• →Lead and contribute to the design and delivery of water infrastructure projects
• →Support project management activities, including scope development, schedules, budgets, coordination with internal teams, and technical deliverables 
• →Prepare and review engineering calculations, technical reports, plans, and specifications 
• →Coordinate with clients, agencies, and stakeholders, including support of permitting processes and regulatory approvals 
• →Apply BKF standards and best practices to ensure quality, consistency, and innovation in project delivery
• →Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior engineers and designers Collaborate across BKF service lines and disciplines to support integrated project delivery
• →Assist with proposal support and technical input for water resources and stormwater pursuits as needed

• 6+ years working on site development projects
• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering
• EIT is required, California Professional Engineer (P.E.) license is preferred
• Strong interpersonal skills are essential within our close and client-focused environment.
• Strong initiative and technical problem-solving expertise

Physical Demands: Must be able to regularly talk, hear and operate a computer, keyboard and mouse and occasionally lift, pull/push and carry up to 20 pounds with accommodations.

Work Conditions: Exposure to constant or intermittent sounds at a low or moderate level consistent with an office setting. Exposure to high-stress, fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment. Travel to other BKF locations and client sites may be required.
