Position Profile:
This role will work with hospice clients to provide personal engagement and enhance quality of life.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver hospice nursing care.
- Foster therapeutic relationships.
- Conduct thorough nursing assessments.
- Plan and implement effective care.
- Manage pain and symptoms.
- Ensure patient safety.
- Facilitate care environment transitions.
- Educate patients, families, and caregivers.
- Support end-of-life processes.
- Address end-of-life ethical concerns.
- Produce accurate documentation promptly.
- Utilize resources efficiently.
- Adhere to practice scope and continuously enhance services.
- Maintain Bloom's professional conduct standards.
- Accredited nursing school graduate.
- Valid CO RN license.
- At least one year in medical, surgical, or critical care nursing.
- Strong clinical assessment capability.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Effective problem-solving skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong time management.
- Computer proficiency.
- Experience in hospice or oncology.
- Understanding of death/dying and bereavement processes.
- CHPN certification.
The salary for this position is competitive and commensurate with experience. The pay range for this role in the state of Colorado typically falls between $50.00 - $60.00 per hour with the potential for performance-based bonuses and other benefits. Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as qualifications, experience, and location within the state.
