The Food & Beverage Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the hotel’s food and beverage operations, including restaurant, lounge, banquets, and catering services. This role ensures the delivery of exceptional guest experiences, efficient operations, financial profitability, and compliance with brand standards. The Food & Beverage Manager provides strong leadership to the F&B team, fostering a culture of service excellence, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities

Oversee daily operations of the restaurant, lounge, room service, and banquet functions.

Ensure compliance with Wyndham brand standards, health and safety regulations, and local codes.

Monitor service quality and resolve guest complaints promptly and professionally.

Coordinate with the Executive Chef and culinary team to develop and maintain high-quality menus.

Prepare, monitor, and manage budgets, forecasts, and cost controls to maximize profitability.

Track revenue, expenses, and labor costs, ensuring alignment with financial goals.

Implement inventory control measures for food, beverage, and supplies.

Negotiate with vendors and manage supplier relationships to ensure quality and cost efficiency.

Recruit, train, supervise, and evaluate F&B staff, ensuring high levels of service and professionalism.

Create staff schedules to meet business demands while maintaining labor efficiency.

Conduct regular team meetings to communicate goals, expectations, and performance updates.

Provide coaching, mentorship, and development opportunities to enhance team performance.

Uphold a guest-focused culture by delivering consistent, high-quality service.

Develop and implement strategies to increase guest satisfaction and repeat business.

Work collaboratively with other hotel departments to ensure seamless guest experiences.
Requirements

Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

Proven ability to manage budgets, control costs, and drive revenue growth.

Excellent knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and alcohol service regulations.

Proficiency in POS systems and Microsoft Office Suite; experience with hotel management software preferred.

Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
