- Dr. Mathew Stewart: A born-and-raised Reno native whose family has been shaping the local dental community for decades—his father practiced dentistry in Reno for 32 years, and his mother trained local assistants. Graduating in 2015, Dr. Stewart brings a modern, highly communicative approach to our practice.
Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Productive Schedule Management: Expertly manage and optimize provider and clinical schedules to maintain an efficient, productive daily workflow.
- →Appointment Confirmations & Fill-Ins: Proactively confirm patient appointments, manage short-call lists, and quickly fill cancellations or openings to minimize schedule downtime.
- →Patient Hospitality & Check-In: Welcome every patient warmly, gather accurate intake information, and set positive expectations for their visit.
- →Front Desk Operations: Handle multi-line phone calls with ease, securely update patient records, assist with basic account inquiries, process payments, and support daily practice operations.
- →Team Synergy: Partner closely with clinical staff and participate in morning huddles to keep daily patient care seamless.
Requirements
~1 min read- Experience Required: 1 to 3 years of previous front office experience in a medical or dental practice (required).
- Schedule Mastery: Proven hands-on experience managing patient scheduling, including optimizing provider books and actively filling schedule gaps.
- Core Professional Qualities: Dependable, punctual, professional, and team-oriented with a strong work ethic.
- Technical & Communication Skills: Comfortable navigating multi-line phone systemsand practice management software with excellent verbal and written communication.
- Mindset: A self-motivated professional with high attention to detail who naturally aligns with our core values (Caring, Creative, Credible, Committed).
- Safety & Compliance: This position is safety-sensitive; successful completion of a pre-employment drug screen is required. We strictly adhere to CDC, OSHA, and ADA safety standards.
