Transportation Technician

• →Maintain various makes and models of vehicles
• →Diagnose & repair mechanical and electronic symptoms
• →Fleet vehicle maintenance experience helpful
• →Gasoline, diesel, small engine, & trailer experience preferred

• Perform all types of equipment and vehicle maintenance including but not limited to oil changes, powertrain, drivetrain, suspension, tire, transmission, brakes, differential, and HVAC service.
• Diagnose, locate, and repair electrical, electronic and computerized vehicle systems.
• Diagnose, repair and replace braking systems, drive trains, and transmissions
• Professional in appearance and presentation
• Effective in oral and written communication

• CDL (Bus & Tractor/Trailer) preferred; ASE certification helpful

• Familiarity with Microsoft Word, Outlook, online service manuals, online parts acquisition

• Drive motorized vehicles
• Work around machines
• Work above floor level
• Exposed to dust, fumes, gases
• Exposed to marked changes in temperature
• Work outdoors in varying weather
• Repetitive hand movement (firm grasp)––both hands
• Repetitive hand movement (grasp and pull)––both hands
