HEMA Intern (GATE & SEE region)
About the Role
At Boston Scientific, our Health Economics and Market Access (HEMA) team plays a key role in ensuring that innovative medical technologies reach patients while supporting the sustainability of healthcare systems.
As a HEMA Intern, you will gain hands-on experience supporting market access activities across the GATE (Türkiye, Georgia, Azerbaijan, Pakistan, Afghanistan) and Southeastern Europe regions. You will contribute to real projects that shape reimbursement strategies, improve patient access, and support decision-making through data-driven insights.
What You Will Be Doing
Operational Support & Coordination
* Support vendor-related processes (onboarding, contracts, project coordination)
* Assist in data tracking, reporting, and preparation of presentations
* Maintain and improve tracking tools for regional HEMA activities
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Sales, Medical, Marketing, Regulatory)
HEMA Projects & Market Access Activities
* Monitor healthcare systems, reimbursement landscapes, and policy changes across multiple countries
* Prepare and regularly update country-specific market access and reimbursement analyses
* Support prioritization of countries and projects through data and insights
* Adapt and update health economic models to local market needs
* Contribute to data analysis projects and support evidence generation
* Assist in the preparation and localization of HTA dossiers and reimbursement submissions
* Provide timely insights and support internal stakeholders with day-to-day requests
What We Are Looking For
* University student or recent graduate in Life Sciences, Medicine, Health Economics, Public Health, or related fields
* Fluent English (additional languages are a plus)
* Strong analytical mindset with interest in data analysis, modelling, and healthcare systems
* Good knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint
* Interest in health economics, reimbursement, and market access
* Familiarity with AI tools is an advantage
* Strong communication skills and ability to work in a multicultural, multi-country environment
