We are seeking a highly engaged and motivated Associate Workers Compensation Attorney to join our legal team. This role involves managing the full litigation process from investigation through trial, representing clients in a wide range of proceedings and providing strategic legal guidance. The ideal candidate will be a strong communicator, a skilled negotiator, and a trusted partner to clients and colleagues alike.

**The Associate Attorney is a remote position, but candidate must live within commutable distance to New Jersey for occasional in-office meetings.**

  Manage the litigation process from investigation and discovery through trial preparation and court proceedings.

  Represent clients in depositions, site inspections, hearings, trials, and settlement negotiations.

  Research and analyze applicable laws to develop effective legal strategies and communicate findings to claims representatives and insured clients.

  Draft and present clear, well-reasoned legal opinions, pleadings, motions, and other documents.

  Build and maintain strong professional relationships with claims representatives, insured clients, and internal departments.

  Conduct training sessions for Legal, Claims, or other business units as needed.

  Track and record billable hours accurately and efficiently.

• →

  Independently manage a caseload with little to no supervision.

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

• Active bar admission in New Jersey (required).

• Demonstrated litigation experience, including discovery, trial preparation, and courtroom proceedings.

• Strong research, analytical, and strategic thinking skills.

• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

• Ability to manage multiple cases independently while meeting deadlines.

• Familiarity with billable hour requirements and timekeeping practices
