The Jackson, MS franchise is excited to invite an experienced Mitigation Manager to join their growing team. The Mitigation Manager is one of the first on-site, responding when it comes to fire, water, storm, mold, or other disasters providing customers with extraordinary care and serving them in their time of need. The company is growing rapidly and is looking for A-Players to represent the vision, mission, and values of their organization. The Mitigation Manager will lead and oversee multiple mitigation crews for a growing, nationally recognized restoration franchise. Emergency Response & Job Oversight

  Respond to water, fire, mold, and storm damage emergencies

• →

  Oversee multiple mitigation crews and job schedules

• →

  Ensure drying protocols and remediation standards are properly followed

• →

  Monitor job progress and documentation for insurance compliance

• →

  Coordinate with Reconstruction Project Managers for smooth handoffs

Leadership & Team Management

• →

  Lead, train, and mentor mitigation technicians

• →

  Ensure crews are following safety guidelines and company standards

• →

  Manage staffing, scheduling, and job assignments

• →

  Maintain accountability across multiple active projects

Customer & Insurance Communication

• →

  Serve as on-site point of contact for homeowners and property managers

• →

  Communicate with insurance adjusters regarding protocols and documentation

• →

  Ensure proper dry logs, moisture mapping, and job documentation are completed accurately

• →

  Maintain strong relationships with internal PMs and office staff

Hands-On Work

• →

  Operate drying equipment (air movers, dehumidifiers, HEPA filtration, etc.)

• →

  Perform controlled demolition and debris removal when necessary

• →

  Inspect properties and determine mitigation scope

• 3+ years experience in water, fire, and/or mold mitigation

• 2+ years experience leading crews or managing restoration teams

• Strong understanding of insurance-driven mitigation protocols

• Experience managing multiple jobs simultaneously

• IICRC certifications (WRT required; ASD/FSRT preferred)

• Ability to lift 75+ lbs and work in physically demanding environments

• Comfortable working in water, smoke, mold, and hazardous environments (PPE provided)

• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record

• Ability to pass background check
