**Occupational Therapist Candidate must be 45 minutes or less driving time from Loganville**
Requirements
~1 min read- Degree: Master’s or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
- Licensure: Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an Occupational Therapist in the state of practice.
- Certification: Certification through the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT).
Requirements
~1 min read- Pediatric Experience: Prior experience working with children in a clinical or educational setting is preferred.
- Therapeutic Skills: Proficient in designing and implementing individualized treatment plans for children with physical, developmental, emotional, or sensory challenges.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to collaborate with parents, caregivers, and other healthcare professionals.
- Problem-Solving: Strong ability to assess needs, identify goals, and adapt treatment plans as needed.
- Creativity: Ability to create engaging, play-based therapeutic activities tailored to each child's interests and developmental level.
Requirements
~1 min read- Training or certifications in specialized therapeutic approaches (e.g., Sensory Integration Therapy, Reflex Integration, or Feeding Therapy).
- Knowledge of assistive technology and adaptive equipment.
- CPR and First Aid certification.
