About the Role
~1 min readThe Assistant General Manager (AGM) is a full-time, exempt leadership position within the Operations / Management department at HeadPinz and FastTrax Entertainment Centers across all locations. Reporting to the General Manager, the AGM supports the safe, compliant, and efficient operation of the property by providing daily operational oversight, visible floor leadership, and consistent enforcement of policies and standards. This role carries direct responsibility for safety enforcement, regulatory compliance, operational discipline, and staff accountability across all departments while supporting strong guest experiences and financial performance.
Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Enforce all company safety policies, procedures, and operational standards on a daily basis.
- →Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations, including OSHA, health department, and alcohol service laws.
- →Oversee and enforce height, age, waiver, and eligibility requirements for all attractions, including FastTrax racing and activities.
- →Monitor staff performance to ensure safety procedures, alcohol compliance, and guest eligibility checks are consistently followed.
- →Respond to, document, and escalate guest or employee incidents, injuries, or safety concerns in accordance with company procedures.
- →Conduct routine safety walks and inspections of attractions, bowling lanes, GameZone, food & beverage areas, and guest spaces.
- →Exercise authority to refuse service, remove guests, or temporarily close areas when safety or compliance is compromised.
- Assist in directing daily operations across Guest Services, Attractions, Food & Beverage, GameZone, and Facility Support.
- Support staffing, scheduling, and floor coverage to maintain safe guest flow and operational control.
- Serve as a visible floor leader to reinforce standards, guest experience expectations, and operational discipline.
- Support responsible alcohol service practices across the property.
- Verify alcohol certifications are current and enforced.
- Intervene in alcohol-related situations to prevent over-service or unsafe behavior.
- Act as a management point of contact for alcohol-related incidents in the absence of the General Manager.
- Lead by example through consistent floor presence, professionalism, and policy enforcement.
- Coach, train, and discipline team members in alignment with company policies and applicable labor laws.
- Reinforce training standards, SOPs, and safety checklists across all departments.
- Support the General Manager in performance management and team development initiatives.
- Act as General Manager on Duty when assigned, maintaining full operational control and accountability.
- Assist with labor management, scheduling efficiency, and operational reporting.
- Review incident reports, safety logs, and operational metrics to identify risk trends and improvement opportunities.
- Support inventory control, vendor coordination, and administrative duties as assigned.
Requirements
~1 min read- Minimum of 3–5 years of supervisory or management experience in entertainment, hospitality, food & beverage, or similar environments.
- Demonstrated experience enforcing safety policies, operational standards, and compliance requirements.
- Strong working knowledge of alcohol service laws, workplace safety, and guest risk management.
- Proven leadership, communication, and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to stand and walk the facility for extended periods.
- Ability to respond quickly to operational issues, incidents, or emergencies.
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds as needed.
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and extended hours as business requires.
