As a Maintenance Electrician at our Bassendean site, you’ll be joining a global leader in the design, manufacture, and supply of wear products and services for mining equipment.

This role is ideal for a qualified electrician looking to develop their career within a heavy manufacturing environment. The variety of work and equipment is unparalleled in the metropolitan area. Your role is part of a diverse team of Electricians, Fitters, and Boilermakers.
As a Maintenance Electrician, you’ll support the maintenance team by carrying out electrical installations, fault finding, repairs, and preventative maintenance on site plant and equipment.
Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, you’ll play an important role in keeping production running safely and efficiently, while ensuring all electrical work is completed to statutory and Bradken standards.
- Respond to plant breakdowns and production stoppages
- Carry out fault finding and repairs using electronic diagnostic tools
- Complete preventative and reactive maintenance on electrical equipment
- Ensure all electrical work complies with AS/NZS3000 and relevant legislation
- Complete work orders, JSA documentation, and timesheets accurately
- Promote a strong safety culture and report hazards or incidents promptly
- Contribute to improving equipment reliability and plant availability
- Support maintenance projects and continuous improvement initiatives
Essential:
- Electrical Trade Qualification
- Current Electrical Licence
- Experience working in a manufacturing or industrial maintenance environment, or willing to grow your experience in this area
- Strong fault‑finding and problem‑solving skills
- Commitment to safety, quality, and teamwork
Preferred:
- Experience using maintenance management systems (e.g. MEX/CMMS)
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Understanding of ISO quality systems
