As a Software Engineer Developer at Bradken, you'll primarily design and maintain digital product solutions for our customers. Your role will involve key responsibilities such as triaging support tickets, configuring new customer implementations, and maintaining the existing system.

With your problem-solving skills, you'll be an adaptable and solution-focused Software Developer who excels in contributing to diverse projects. Your enthusiasm for resolving issues and managing data processes, along with a positive, can-do attitude, will define your success in this role.

With your meticulous attention to detail, you will safeguard organisational interests by ensuring all work protects Bradken’s intellectual property. You will also adhere to relevant Australian and international quality standards, as well as Bradken’s internal specifications, standards, and procedures for software development. You should be aware of current cybersecurity best practices and use it in your day-to-day work. This position will also include conducting code reviews for other developers in the team.

• A degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, IT (with a focus on software development), or a related discipline is essential.
• A minimum of 3-6 years of experience in a corporate software development role.
• Experience or Interest in using AI-augmented coding tools like Claude Code, Gemini or other LLM’s to deliver quality code faster.
• Backend engineering experience in C# / .NET, with the ability to build and maintain APIs, business logic, data-processing services, and integrations.
• Frontend experience in React and TypeScript, including complex, data-driven UI, reusable components, and dashboard-style features.
• Solid database capability, especially SQL and relational design, with practical experience in Azure MS SQL or Postgres. Experience using ORM’s and database migrations.
• Comfortable working with supporting tooling and scripting such as Python, and able to use it pragmatically for automation, data handling, and developer workflows.
• Strong troubleshooting and debugging ability across the stack, including isolating issues in frontend behaviour, backend services, database queries, and data flow between systems.
• Good engineering discipline around code quality, testing, maintainability, and working effectively in an existing product codebase.
• Previous Experience using Prefect for batch processing would be highly desirable.
• Proficient in using Git/Github for code repository.

This position is remotely based in India.
