As a dedicated People Business Partner in EMEA, you will serve as a trusted resource and confidant to employees, a strategic consultant to management on employee relations issues, and lead human resources initiatives. You will be empowered to have direct ownership over a variety of projects and work. This role will be based in our London office and is a unique opportunity to bring your people relations experience to a pivotal region for Braze!

Here are some things to expect in your day-to-day:

  • Serve as an initial point of contact and intermediary for employees and leaders, and offer advice, counseling, and training on employee relations matters
  • Be both an advocate for employees and a champion for the business
  • Work hand-in-hand with functional and regional leadership to diagnose organizational design and development needs; increase employee motivation, engagement, productivity, and retention; recommend and implement solutions to continuously build morale; and drive our engaging and exciting culture!
  • Partner closely with other People team functions (including Total Rewards, People Systems & Data, People Programs & Strategy, and Workplace Experience) to better the overall employee experience for our employees; this may include evaluating training programs and assisting with training needs for both individuals and teams, analyzing workforce trends utilizing People data, etc.
  • Implement people-focused programs that align with Braze’s mission, values, culture, and goals

You’re a highly-motivated, enthusiastic, and dedicated human resources professional who excels at balancing the needs of the business with the needs of our people. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in driving productivity, proactivity, and urgency while taking initiative to keep our stakeholders informed.

Specifically, you have:

  • 3-5 years of HR business partner and/or HR generalist experience: preferably within the SaaS tech industry, you possess a strong foundation, understanding and experience with human resources best practices, local employment law and employee relations
  • Excellent verbal and written communication: verbal and written communication abilities are paramount, and you thrive in a cross-functional, collaborative environment
  • A strategic mindset and proactive attitude: approaching situations and challenges with a strategic mindset, ready to roll up your sleeves to tackle any task no matter how small

  • Adaptability: experience in ambiguous situations where you can easily juggle multiple tasks while maintaining a high level of performance
  • Stakeholder management: a proven track record of working effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization, tailoring your approach to foster partnership and achieve the best possible outcomes
