Mavericks Wanted

When was the last time you achieved the impossible? If that thought feels overwhelming, you might want to pause here, but if it sparks excitement...read on

In 2015, we pioneered a “moneyball for biotech” approach, pooling projects and promising early-stage research from academia together under one financial umbrella to reduce risk and unleash innovation. This model allows science and small teams of experts to lead the way. We build bridges to groundbreaking advancements in rare disease, and develop life-changing medicines for patients with unmet needs as fast as humanly possible.

Together we define white space, push boundaries, and empower people to solve problems. If you're someone who defies convention, join us and work alongside some of the most respected minds in the industry. Together, we'll ask "why not?" and help reengineer the future of biopharma. At BridgeBio, we value curiosity and experimentation—including the ethical & thoughtful use of AI to improve clarity, speed, and quality of work.

BridgeBio is a biopharmaceutical company dedicated to discovering, developing, and delivering transformative medicines for patients living with genetic diseases and genetically defined cancers. Since our founding in 2015, we have built a diverse portfolio of more than 20 drug development programs, ranging from early discovery to late-stage clinical trials, across multiple therapeutic areas including precision oncology, cardiology, endocrinology, neurology, and renal disease. We have already achieved regulatory approval for three therapies and continue to advance promising science from academia into meaningful treatments for patients worldwide.

BridgeBio is a global biotechnology company with our Global Headquarters located in San Francisco, USA, and our International HQ located in Zug, Switzerland. Since establishing our European presence in 2021, we’ve been building empowered, high-performing teams across countries  with experienced colleagues who move quickly, take ownership, and are fueling the company’s international growth.

You will report to the VP, Head of Market Access, International and work closely with international Market Access, regional brand team, and the leaders of Market Access in BridgeBio clusters as well as with field-based colleagues across multiple geographies, to drive strategic initiatives that support BridgeBio’s mission of delivering transformative medicines to patients globally.

Your primary purpose will be to secure timely, sustainable patient access to the company’s products by shaping the value narrative, and leading pricing and reimbursement strategies and execution across multiple international markets. This includes oversight of related dossiers, negotiations, and cost coverage approaches. In this role you ensure alignment of Market Access ambitions with clinical value and global pricing interdependencies.

You will also be a core member of the International Market Access team, contributing to global decision-making and ensuring alignment across regions while representing diverse market perspectives.

This role requires strong collaboration with cross-functional colleagues and external stakeholders across multiple countries to ensure high-quality execution and impact. The ideal candidate combines deep expertise in Market Access processes across several international markets and experience introducing innovative therapies in a global biotech environment. You are eager to make a meaningful contribution in pre-launch and launch phases, particularly within rare diseases and orphan conditions, and bring strong communication skills, adaptability, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.

  • Represent the payer perspective within cross-functional, cross-regional commercialization teams thereby optimizing pricing and market access of the asset
  • Closely collaborate with HEOR and clusters' leadership teams, Marketing and Clinical Development counterparts to ensure value and access optimization for the asset
  • Lead early payer engagement with key HTA/payer bodies (e.g. NICE UK, G-BA Germany) to inform evidence generation strategy, value proposition and reimbursement dossier development
  • Interact with internal/external experts in pricing, health economics, patient advocacy, health technology assessment authorities, government policy makers and payers as required to execute Pricing & Reimbursement objectives
  • Provide hands-on support and train local access teams on negotiation strategy and ensure HTA and reimbursement submissions are aligned with the Global and International strategy
  • Develop and execute international market access strategies and payer evidence generation to support pricing and reimbursement in international region
  • Define and implement international pricing strategy and contracting principles
  • Provide strategic guidance to local teams on reimbursement dossier development, access pathways, and negotiation strategy

The above job description documents the general nature and level of work but is not intended to be an exhaustive list of activities, duties, and responsibilities required of job incumbents. Therefore, job incumbents are expected to perform all other duties as assigned or required, as training and experience allows.

This is an office role based and requires in-office collaboration 2-3x per week in our Zug Office.

  • Extensive experience leading HTA submissions and pricing negotiations across multiple international markets, ideally including Europe and other global regions, particularly in rare diseases and orphan conditions
  • Strong knowledge of international healthcare systems, pricing and reimbursement frameworks, and regulatory environments
  • Experience generating and leveraging data for HTA submissions and pricing negotiations, with a strong external network of agencies and stakeholders
  • Comfortable presenting at senior levels and engaging with external thought leaders globally
  • Proven experience managing complex, cross-functional and multicultural teams (including external partners)
  • Knowledge of product commercialization processes with a hands-on, solution-oriented mindset for building scalable processes and documentation

We have high expectations for our team members. We make sure those working hard for patients are rewarded and cared for in return.
