The registrar manages and maintains the integrity of the files and transcripts. Monitors students to assure completion of program. Collects and maintains student information to support managers, faculty, advisors, program directors, and other associates to meet student outcomes. Completes academic reports including internal and external reports that involve academic and student statistics. Collects, inputs and analyses data in college computer system. Supports the college in achieving overall retention and new enrollment goals.
Responsibilities

- →Evaluate transcripts to identify and monitor levels of academic standards and develop reports to inform advisors of students on probation and dismissal.
- →Assist in the creation of semester and yearly schedules
- →Evaluates and awards transfer of credits.
- →Evaluates and awards proficiency credits.
- →Verifies official numbers for both new and continuing students.
- →Reviews new student files for compliance of all application materials.
- →Oversees Uploading and scanning of new and archived files.
- →Oversees compliance review for Standards of Progress, graduation requirements, course review administration and other.
- →Manages paperwork in a timely manner; student scheduling, class changes, program changes, withdraws, tracking probation and dismissals.
- →Participates in the registration process for new and continuing students for the future semester.
- →Completing all state, accreditation and agency reports as assigned by the Campus Director, Dean or system office.
- →Assist the Dean or Campus Director in completing various reports tracking student success in: cohort reports, program retention and FTE.
- →Updates and monitors academic registration reports such as Milestones and registration reports.
- →Provides update of student numbers and contact information.
- →Creates and monitors graduation list.
- →Create weekly Monday Morning Drop report informing campus of weekly drops
- →Develop and participate in campus activities that support our mission
- →Participate in annual strategic planning regarding effectiveness of retention efforts.
- →Participate in SEVIS process for international students
- →Assist the Market Director, Dean of Instruction, Athletic Director and Systems office as needed with all required State, Federal and Campus Reporting.
- →All other duties as assigned
Requirements
~2 min read- Bachelor’s degree required. Master’s degree helpful
- 2-3 years experience working in file management within an educational or business setting.
- Knowledge of educational computer systems such as Banner.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills required
- Ability to learn curriculum requirements, course content and necessary pre-requisites within each degreed program offered
- Demonstrated commitment to professional development and lifelong learning
- Ability to function effectively as part of a team to meet overall campus goals
- Available to work occasional evenings or weekend if required.

The selected candidate’s actual base pay for this role will take into account a wide range of non-discriminatory factors including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. At Bryant & Stratton College, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. Information about the total compensation package for this position will be provided during the interview process.
Exempt Position
Salary Range:
$60,400 - $62,250
