We are searching for a Project Manager - Change Management for our Pittsburgh, PA location. This role is responsible for serving as one of the technical project managers for our IT Portfolio, which consists of multiple implementation projects spanning technology and process initiatives. This role serves as a key technical liaison, facilitating effective communication and collaboration between internal project resources, vendors, and business stakeholders. This role is required to coordinate cross-functional teams, ensuring the timely and effective delivery of IT solutions that align with organizational goals and objectives.
This role also serves as a change champion for Project related Change activities. This responsibility will include participation in the design and implementation of the Changes related to Technology implementation.
Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Strong “interviewing” skills to assist in gathering business requirements and objectives (scope definition) from project sponsors and customers.
- →Strong attention to detail and documentation skills.
- →Communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
- →Planning, organization, implementation and follow-up skills.
- →Familiarity with best practice frameworks such as ADKAR or others
- →Experience with Organizational change management principles and practical application within large and matrixed organizations.
- →Work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
- →Handle stressful situations and provide a high level of support in a calm and professional manner.
- →Ability to adapt to change, especially changes in process and/or systems.
- →Minimum of 5 years of experience in technical roles preferably in a legal environment.
- →Prior experience in project management methodologies.
- →Ability to analyze a problem/project and propose innovative solutions.
- →Ability to take initiative while exercising discretion and independent judgement.
- →Ability to prioritize and complete multiple tasks with competing deadlines; effective project management skills.
- →Ability to work effectively as part of a team and coordinate team efforts.
- →Technically proficient in all Microsoft Office programs, specifically: MS Project,
MS Word, MS Excel, MS Visio.
Requirements
~1 min read- PROSCI, CCPM or related change management certification(s) preferred
- PMP, CAPM, or other project management certification(s) preferred
