This role is responsible for leading enterprise deployment execution with a dedicated focus on mergers and acquisitions integration and field deployment readiness. The position ensures acquired locations, existing BFS field teams, and cross-functional partners are aligned, prepared, and supported through standardized deployment planning, readiness criteria, execution governance, and post-go-live stabilization.
The role serves as a key operational leader for deployment activities, balancing the unique integration requirements of M&A locations with the broader need to lead, coordinate, and develop field deployment teams responsible for successful business adoption.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Leads deployment planning and execution for M&A locations, ensuring integration activities are aligned to enterprise deployment standards, business priorities, and operational readiness expectations.
Partners with M&A, operations, IT, finance, supply chain, and functional leaders to identify integration requirements, deployment dependencies, business risks, and decision points for acquired locations.
Builds and manages deployment readiness plans for field locations, including site preparation, business process adoption, training coordination, data readiness, cutover activities, and hypercare support.
Directs field deployment teams responsible for supporting locations before, during, and after go-live, ensuring roles, responsibilities, escalation paths, and success measures are clearly defined.
Provides visible leadership to field teams and business leaders during deployment waves, reinforcing readiness expectations, resolving barriers, and maintaining accountability for execution outcomes.
Updates repeatable deployment playbooks when necessary, readiness criteria, governance routines, and reporting mechanisms to support consistent execution across acquired and existing BFS locations.
Monitors deployment progress, issue resolution, change adoption, and post-go-live performance; escalates complex risks and develops mitigation plans with cross-functional leaders.
Communicates deployment status, risks, decisions, and support needs to senior leadership, business stakeholders, and field leaders in a clear, concise, and action-oriented manner.
Identifies continuous improvement opportunities across deployment execution, M&A integration, field readiness, and hypercare processes to improve speed, quality, and business adoption.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This job has supervisory responsibilities for assigned field deployment team members and deployment support resources, including both in-person and remote team members. Responsibilities include workforce planning, role clarity, onboarding, coaching, performance management, prioritization of work, issue escalation, and ensuring team members are equipped to support successful field execution and M&A integration outcomes.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
10+ years of relevant experience in deployment leadership, field operations, business transformation, M&A integration, ERP implementation, program management, or equivalent experience.
Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional teams through complex change, preferably across distributed field locations.
Ability to travel regularly to field locations, acquired businesses, deployment events, and leadership meetings as required.
Or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
