About the Role
We are looking for a reliable and hands-on Warehouse Assistant to join our BuildCam team based at our Arundel Head Office. In this role, you'll help keep our operation running smoothly by preparing equipment, managing stock, unloading deliveries, completing basic repairs, and ensuring our installation teams have everything they need for the day ahead. No two days are the same. You'll be involved in a mix of warehouse duties, stock control, equipment preparation, workshop support, and basic fault-finding on BuildCam equipment. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys staying busy and working with their hands.
Key Tasks:
- Load and unload trucks for stock transfers and deliveries.
- Pick, prepare, and organise stock for installation teams.
- Check incoming stock and equipment for damage, faults, and quality issues.
- Repair and refurbish damaged equipment where possible.
- Unload containers and store stock in the correct locations.
- Assist with basic fault-finding and testing of BuildCam camera equipment.
- Maintain accurate stock levels and keep the warehouse organised.
- Maintain a clean, tidy, and safe warehouse and workshop.
- Work closely with the team to ensure equipment is ready when needed.
- Assist with general warehouse and workshop duties as required.
About You
To be successful in this role, you'll have:
- A current Forklift Licence (essential).
- Previous warehouse, logistics, workshop, or trade-based experience.
- Strong hands-on skills and a practical approach to problem-solving.
- Confidence working with technology and electronic equipment.
- A quality-focused mindset and pride in your work.
- The ability to work well as part of a team.
- A strong commitment to workplace safety.
Why Join Buildsafe?
- Casual employment with consistent Monday to Friday work available.
- Weekly pay.
- Uniform and PPE provided (excluding steel-cap boots).
- Employee Assistance Program (Buildsafe Care/Staff Care).
- Monthly team lunches and fortnightly car washing.
- Discounted gym memberships through Fitness Passport.
- Be part of a growing, technology-driven business.
