Safety Facilitator

• Ensure Bulla is a Safe workplace by promoting a safety-first culture
• Provide advice and support to build line manager safety competence
• Drive safety on site with the delivery and understanding of toolbox meetings and safety alerts
• Assist with operational tasks including incident investigations and risk assessments
• Assist with the investigation of any issues identified as a result of audits and day-to-day operational activities
• Provide OH&S support and assistance to develop and maintain traffic management plans, manual handling documentation and ergonomic assessment.
• Ensure chemicals have been risk assessed and updated in ChemWatch
• Facilitate, review and manage risk assessments in relation to business operations
• Assist and promote hazard identification and identify risk control measures to minimise injury and property damage
• Ensure all incidents investigations are conducted and documented in a timely manner

• Cert IV in OHS or similar preferred
• Min of 2 years’ experience in a similar role
• FMCG and manufacturing experience preferred
• ICAM Trained preferred
• General understanding of Victorian OHS and Workers Compensation legislation and regulations
• Strong sense of initiative and ability to adapt to change quickly
• Highly proactive and the ability to juggle multiple priorities
• Strong motivational skills with the capacity to positively influence people independently or through teamwork
• High degree of professional ethics and integrity
• Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with both internal and external stakeholders
• Ability to prepare detailed and practical meeting notes and reports
