The Chief of Staff to the Chief Growth Officer is a trusted right hand and execution partner to the CGO, focused on organizational support, executive follow-through, and operational flow rather than direct selling.

This role is designed for someone who has organizationally supported a highly busy, highly visible executive (business or political) and knows how to manage priorities, information flow, and stakeholder follow-ups in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

You will:

  • Keep the CGO in sync with the organization by tracking decisions, owners, and follow-ups and ensuring they are executed.

  • Shape and manage the CGO’s schedule and “flow of traffic” so their time is spent on the highest-impact activities.

  • Coordinate organizational and logistical syncs, offsites, and gatherings related to growth.

  • Prepare the CGO for key internal and external meetings with concise briefings and ensure clear, timely follow-up.

You will act as an orchestrator and integrator, ensuring the right people are prepared, aligned, and accountable around the CGO’s priorities across Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, Finance, Product, and Operations.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with the CGO to define and maintain annual and quarterly growth priorities, including key initiatives and focus areas.

  • Own and run the CGO’s operating cadence (e.g., leadership meetings, MBRs/QBRs, weekly growth huddles, 1:1s), ensuring agendas, materials, and attendees are aligned to current priorities.

  • Translate strategic priorities into clear action plans with owners, timelines, and checkpoints; track progress and surface risks, blockers, or trade-offs.

  • Prepare briefing materials and talking points for Board, executive, and high-stakes internal and external meetings.

  • Maintain a high-level view of key relationships with agencies, school districts, partners, and internal stakeholders, ensuring the CGO is prepared and follow-ups are closed — without acting as the primary salesperson.

  • Serve as an organizational extension of the CGO, helping prioritize where they spend their time and shaping the schedule to reflect strategic priorities while minimizing context switching.

  • Conduct pre-briefs and debriefs for key meetings; capture and track decisions, action items, and follow-ups, ensuring owners are clear, accountable, and reporting back.

  • Partner closely with any executive assistant support and act as a filter and “traffic controller” for inbound requests, routing items to the right leaders and protecting the CGO’s focus

  • Plan, coordinate, and facilitate organizational syncs and gatherings related to growth (e.g., revenue leadership offsites, growth summits, workshops, key customer or partner events).

  • Design and run effective meetings, including agendas, materials, facilitation support, and clear outcomes.

  • Act as a connector across Revenue, Product/Technology, Operations, Marketing, and Finance to ensure information flows smoothly and teams are aligned on priorities.

  • Draft and refine clear, concise internal communications on behalf of the CGO (updates, org changes, priorities, recognition).

  • Ensure alignment across revenue and growth leadership on goals, metrics, and initiatives; proactively identify and address misalignments.

  • Support organizational design, headcount planning, and hiring discussions by coordinating inputs, synthesizing perspectives, and driving follow-through on decisions.

  • Exceptional organization, project management, and time management skills; able to keep many moving pieces aligned without letting details slip.
