Driver Merchandiser - Bread - Heavy Truck License Required

Job Summary:

Assisting, checking and carefully loading product on truck for deliveries; only to assigned routes in order to adhere to the departure schedule. Driver will visit the trade to solicit their own orders.

Hours of work:

Monday to Thursday 7am to 3pm (or 8am to 4pm);
Friday & Saturday: 7am to 11am (or 8am to 12pm).

Total Weekly hours: 38.75

Primary Duties & Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Obtaining customer signatures on all invoices as delivered, and returning all paperwork back to appropriate personnel upon return. Reporting any delays in route. Returning damaged or non-required product to the warehouse with correct paperwork.
• Delivering to only assigned routes, and ensuring all invoices and credits are signed and returned correctly at the end of each day with correct paperwork.
• Preparing/loading and picking of orders for delivery to our customers in a timely manner. Driver will visit the trade to solicit their own orders as well as merchandise the orders. 
• Assisting in the loading of product onto truck in a timely fashion, adhering to all departure schedules, delivering to only assigned route, any deviation/delays in route report to dispatcher immediately. 
• Assisting in any other area throughout the team as and when required.
• Completing weekly vehicle maintenance form, not having any accidents, speed reports, or parking tickets within the past 12 months. Obeying all traffic laws and regulations.
• Wearing uniform provided and looking smart, clean and tidy. Provide polite, courteous and friendly service to our customers, acting as ambassadors for the company.

• Self starter - ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Possess a clean and valid Bermuda Heavy Truck Driver's License.
• Have high standards and strong organizational skills.
• Have strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills.

HEAVY TRUCK LICENSE IS REQUIRED.
